I don’t know exactly when it happened but I oatmeal’d myself out a few years ago. And since then I couldn’t get myself to eat another spoonful of oatmeal. Until one day, the jar of salted caramel sitting in my fridge was telepathically telling me to pour me over some oatmeal. Alright, it was one of the remaining things left in our fridge before we moved. We had oatmeal on hand as well as a few apples. And voila, salted caramel apple pie oatmeal was created as a healthy breakfast option.
